BFS ASI/ HC 2015 Examination Notification: Border Security Force

The Border Security Force (BSF) is the primary 'Border Guarding Police Force of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India. It is a union Government Agency under the Administrative Control of Ministry of Home Affairs. It currently stands as the World's largest border guarding force. BSF has been termed as the FIRST WALL OF DEFENSE of Indian territories.

BSF ASI & HC 2015 Recruitment details:

Name of the Organization/ Company/ Institution: Border Security Force (BSF).

Name of the Posts:
01. Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer).
02. Head Constable (Ministerial).

No.of Posts: Total 136 Posts:
01. Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) - 25 Posts.
02. Head Constable (Ministerial) - 111 Posts.

Age Limits: Between 18 to 25 years.
(Note: Relaxation will be as per Government rules.)

Pay Scale:
01. ASI (Steno) - Rs. 5200 - 20200 with grade pay Rs. 2800/- in pay band-1.
02. HC (Mini) - Rs. 5200 - 20200 with grade pay Rs. 2400/- in pay band-1.

Educational Qualification: Intermediate OR Senior Secondary School Certificate (l0+2) Examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.

Selection Process: The selection shall be held in two phases as mentioned bellow..
01. First Phase:
      (a) Written Examination.
02. Second Phase:
      (a) Physical Measurement (PST).
      (b) Short Hand Test (Only for ASI/Steno).
      (c) Typing Speed Test (Only for HC/Mini).
      (d) Documentation (Checking of Documents.)
      (e) Medical Examination.
(Note: There shall be sufficient gap between two phases of the tests.)

02. Last date for receipt of applications: 03.08.2015.
03. Date of BFS ASI/ HC 2015 Examination: The written examination will be conducted at the Selection Centers on the date and time fixed by Pers Dte (Rectt Section) HQ DG BSF which will be communicated on completion of the security. Admission in written examination will be purely on production of call letter/ admit card dispatched to the eligible candidates by the concerned centers.
