'UPSC - Union Public Service Commission' has released an examination notification on 02.08.2017 and it invites applications from the eligible aspirants of Indian citizens and Others (mentioned below) also for the UPSC Indian Economist Service (IES)/ Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2017. Education Qualification:
01. Indian Economic Service (IES): Candidates must have obtained a Post Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometric from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
02. Indian Statistical Service (ISS): Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
Age Limit: Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 01.08.2017.
Age Relaxation: The upper age will be relaxable as follows..
01. SC/ ST Candidates: 05. years.
02. OBC Candidates: 03 years.
03. Candidates of Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989: 05 years.
Application Fee: Candidate are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- except the Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to apply online only by using the UPSC official website 'www.upsconline.nic.in'. And no other mode is allowed for submission of application.
